I was excited to go eat at Salt Rock but I was immediately met with a rude hostess Bri who couldn't even be bothered to look up at me or my husband to greet us. Thankfully our server Adam made up for it. I can't sing his praises enough. I had so many questions about the menu and his patience and knowledge changed my mood and helped change my opinion of Salt Rock. I will say the lobster with shrimp saute pasta was phenomenal and my husband raved about his steak. I look forward to returning to try a few other dishes that Adam recommended.

Probably the Top3 best salmon I've ever had in my life. The stuffed salmon is a MUST if you ever head over to Salt Rock! We also had the Grilled Oysters as an appetizer and they were delicious as well. Our server Vidal was incredible and the entire experience was great. So much flavor and super fresh.

Took my lady friend for Mother's Day today, and we were delighted to find that a table was available without a reservation, and we were promptly seated. The atmosphere was pleasant, the special menu was ample, and the food was quite good. It was among the best meals I've enjoyed recently, however there was exactly one person in the entire restaurant wearing a mask ... yes, still masking up ... and it was our waitress. So we were served by someone saying "first and foremost in my mind, is that you are a disease vector." It's an exceedingly impolite practice, and nobody whose purpose is being a host should ever be wearing a mask. I do hope Salt Rock will remedy this. Until then, the best rating I can give is four stars.

This restaurant has a gorgeous view and they advertise fresh caught fish. The menu is expansive and has a little bit of everything, but I wish they had a larger selection of seafood; I didn't see many things with shrimp. We arrived too late, but I guess they offer a a "supper club", essentially a small portion entree + salad + dessert for a good price. Would like to check that out sometime, I believe it ends at 5:30. The meatloaf was good but so huge! It came with mashed potatoes and A LOT of onion straws. The drinks were good, I had the Kountry Breeze and would get it again!

Excellent meal recently when we came to visit the salt rock grill on a Sunday eve. We were able to sit outside by the water, which has wonderful ambience, not crowded and not noisy. Very peaceful. Not sure if they normally have music on the weekends, but not on this day. We had some really tasty escargot and calamari for starters (table of four), as well as the (not pictured) Mahi Mahi, Coconut Shrimp, and Dayboat/Tuna/salmon in crab sauce. Everyone loved what they had. We really liked the Supper Club menu which gave you a Salad, entree w potato side (baked or garlic mashed) and a small scoop of ice cream w Dutch apple undercrust...all for $20! Very nice place, excellent service, and fresh boat to table dinner. Def come check this place out!!

Beautiful place! A lovely restaurant with a huge deck in the back overlooking the water. I love how they have fresh seafood out on display when you first walk in... I came here for dinner with my husband and my parents. We started with the bread & oil, which was much more flavorful than expected. We also got the tuna rolls and "firecracker" tuna. Both were fantastic! I've never had fried tuna like the firecracker tuna and I really enjoyed it. For my entree, I ordered the baked scallops off the "supper club" menu where your meal comes with salad and dessert. The salad was subpar but the scallops and mashed potatoes were excellent! The dessert was a scoop of ice cream and some fruit which was a perfect compliment to my dinner. I would definitely come back here if I'm in the area again!

Mixed reviews after our early dinner at Salt Rock Grill. I definitely recommend making a reservation, because we came on a Monday evening and it was packed! I appreciate that they have an early bird/Supper Club menu and a beautiful view at most tables. Although the Supper Club menu is great for the price, our table found the portions to be a little small (with the exception of the pork chop). Service was also very slow the night we went (dinner lasted about 2 hours), so everyone was very hungry by the time the entrees came out, and were a bit dissapointed in the size. I ordered the Thai Salmon off the regular menu, and thought it was the perfect size! I'd never had wood fired salmon before, and loved the crispy texture it gave the fish. The vegetables also tasted very fresh. My only suggestion would be to add some heat to the dish, but I would absolutely order it again!

Came here on a Monday and it was so packed! The food was good but the service was slow. We were probably at dinner for almost 3 hours because the service was a bit slow ha! The baked oysters were way too cheesy and the rest of the apps we got was good. I recommend getting the Black Grouper under the Just Caught for the main. What I ordered: - KEY LIME OYSTERS: Garlic, parmesan, key lime butter - TUNA SASHIMI: Served rare) Seared tataki tuna with wasabi, Japanese sesame seaweed salad, pickled ginger, and sake-soy dipping sauce - Just Caught Black Grouper Mkt: We serve the freshest fish caught directly from our own fleet of day boats.Served with garlic mashed potatoes.
